Fair Play & Dispute Review

A Fair, Evidence-Based Way to Handle League Disputes

Every league has that one game - a suspicious pick, a play that looked scripted, a call nobody can agree on. KnoBall gives you a real process for it: submit the film, get AI-flagged evidence with exact timestamps, and let your commissioner make the final, on-record call.

Invite-based beta access is free while testing is active. Future pricing will be announced separately.

The problem with 'just watch the tape'

Reviewing a disputed play the old way means someone scrubbing through a full recording by hand, trying to remember which minute mark mattered, and then arguing about it in a group chat with no record of what was actually decided. It's slow, it's subjective, and there's nothing to point back to later.

How KnoBall Referee actually works

KnoBall Referee is the tool built for exactly this. A member uploads or links a video of the game in question. Referee reviews it against your league's own rules and flags anything that looks like it may be worth a closer look - each finding comes with a timestamp pointing to exactly where it happened, so nobody has to re-watch a full game to find the moment in question.

🚨 What Referee actually does

Flags evidence. It does not decide that a violation occurred, it does not rule on intent, and it never takes action on its own. It hands your commissioner a real, timestamped starting point instead of a vague accusation.

👤 What happens next

The person who submitted the film confirms they had the right to submit it. A commissioner reviews the flagged evidence in context - not just the AI's output on its own - and makes the actual ruling. That ruling is recorded, versioned, and can be amended later without losing the original record.

Why the review stays with a real person

Automated analysis can be incomplete or wrong. That's exactly why KnoBall never lets it make the final call on anything - a low-confidence finding is labeled as such rather than presented with false certainty, and every consequence for a player still comes from a real decision your league's own commissioner stands behind.

Quick Questions

Does KnoBall decide who's guilty?

No. KnoBall Referee flags evidence relevant to your league's rules - anything that looks like it may be worth a closer look - with timestamps pointing to exactly where it happened. It never decides a violation occurred. That call always belongs to your league's commissioner.

What if there's no clear evidence either way?

Referee says so honestly instead of guessing. A finding can be marked low-confidence, or the review can come back with nothing flagged at all - an incomplete or ambiguous result is reported as exactly that, not smoothed over into a false accusation.

Can a ruling be changed after it's made?

Yes. Commissioner decisions are versioned - a commissioner can amend a ruling later, and the prior version is preserved rather than overwritten, so there's always a real record of what was decided and when.

Does anything get auto-punished?

No. Nothing on KnoBall automatically suspends a player, reverses a game, or takes any action on its own. Every consequence is a decision a real person in your league makes.
